唐诗精读:《清明》——杜牧

The Qing Ming Festival 清眀节, meaning clear and bright festival, falls on the 4th or 5th day of April. Qing Ming is not a festival for celebration, but a day of mourning for Chinese people's ancestors, and in the modern time, for their passed away family members or close relatives. That's why Qing Ming is also known as the Tomb Sweeping Day. As the Festival signifies the changeover of the season from winter to spring, drizzles and windiness are often observed on this day.
